Favorite photo of my mom is now a layout!

My mom asked me a week ago why I hadn't done any layouts of her, but made my dad an album and do layouts of my brother. Really there is a couple big reasons:  When I really like the photos, or they are vintage reprints or very nice photos I have a difficult time deciding how to move forward.  I think she forgot that I made the album for my dad quite a few years ago before my personal life was too stressful to scrapbook.  SOO... This weekend I made new prints and got started on this layout.  Thanks for looking.

Here is the supplies I used:

K & CO. marge collection
October Afternoon paper
Ek Success punch
Brilliance ink
Prima chipboard
Crate paper epoxy brad
SEI paper flowers
My Minds eye Big flower
Websters Pages sparkler
Tim Holtz Grunge shapes Nature
Tim Holtz Picket Fence crackle paint
Martha Stewart aqua ink
Generic swirl jewels
Mini pom pom trim
Chatterbox CHipboard alphas
American Craft chipboard alpha

Been Paper scrapping this week!

I haven't done alot, but this is more than I thought. One week of from school and my only goal was first clean up the house -DONE and then do something that is NOT required for school, job search, skill enhancement or money.

I am still going to do more, but thought I would post three today.

This one is a hybrid layout: The clouds and trees where printed off from the Cherry Blossom Skies digital kit by Theresa Hernandez at FTLOA store.  I will show closeups as well, or you can go to this gallery and read the supplies used.

This next one was for a challenge about a car real or dream at Scrapdango's online crop this week:

This last one is Ellen Sosnoski's Pretty in {NOT}Pink challenge at Scrapdango: so no pink at all on the girly layout.

Thanks for looking and hope you all enjoy your day.  Off to do some more scrapping!!

Come on by the Scrapdango site and join in on the Totally Rad online crop

Boy scout papers for layout

I thought these K & Company Boy scout papers in a pad were great for outdoors and guy photos. Here is what I did.

Supplies:

*K & company Boy scout paper pad
*Basic Grey Granola Glazed brad
*Walnut hallow Clock hands
*Stampendous Velvet leaf flourishes
*Chalk cats eye Blue iris
*Color box brown ink
*We R memory keepers double churn alphas
*Gutermann thread
*October Afternoon Stamp set (owls & branches)
*Essential Glue pad
*Adirondack Color wash- Espresso
*Doodlebug flocking brown

I stitched the mountains on the background using forward & reverse with machine, The tall trees I used a shadow stitch on my machine, then then straight and zig zag on the branches

The clock hands were stamped with a Glue Pad, then sprinkled lightly with brown Doodlebug flocking. Then spritzed with Adirondack color wash Espresso
