New paper layouts

I went on a scrapbooking weekend and have a few to share now. Some I have loaded at fortheluvofart.com and  at awalkdownmemorylane.net  I also posted them in my photo album on Facebook.

The supplies and close ups are below each layout. Thanks for looking

Fierce @ 40
Supplies Used:

This is my interpretation of Ed Hardy style using Shimmerz:

I hand drew the flower and the banner, painted both with shimmerz Jilted Jade (Paint pot)and mixed with a chocolate berry color of smooch for the flower

I also used a Tim Holtz stamp with the Jilted jade painted onto it to stamp little dots in the upper left and lower right corners

The black paper is Coordinations Black Magic Mantra, but I took the Tim Holtz embossing folder Rays and put the jilted jade directly in it to color the splat areas. Then I hand painted the rays with the jilted jade.

The rest is Prima bling, Zva creative black bling swirl, lots of Basic grey rub ons, Glitz glam rub ons, Pink paislee rub ons. Rainboots alpha for the @ sign, and the Glitter Jewelery box alpha. Fierce is a cricut cut alpha and the true type font is Be Safe.

Snow here today!! Kids at home- they are happy!!

The snow if awesome if I were a kid I would be in it for hours. Great packing snow, I took a couple shots of our tree tops with snow on them and of our dog Harley. He LOVES snow, he likes to pounce through it and jump and flip in the air to catch snowballs.
I have the crocheted pillow that I posted about a few posts ago almost done, I just need to put on the decorative buttons and then I will share the outcome. I also, did a couple of more Digi layouts with kits from French Ruby and Fotosusu from Dragonflairestudios.

This top one is from A New Day by Fotosusu

This one is from French Ruby's Tropical Cocktail kit

Today I am pretty busy today just making calls and prepping new orders for all the new goodies we are seeing. I have my favorites list going: Some new American Crafts they have a new scalloped paper, spot varnish (which is a smooth flat shine on areas of the paper) and embossing and foiling.

I have seen peeks of the new Crate paper and Deja views lines -distressed, muted boy looking papers, SOO cool. Glitz design has some fabulous new items coming out, MME, Melissa Frances has a beautiful set that is roses and is blues and greens.

I am waiting to see the new Anna Griffin, I like the new Luxe stickers and rub ons, Renevouz line, and a few others. I have a full page of companies. PLUS I am into this new Scraponizer, I am planning on ordering it too. It is 8.5 x 11 and has inside compartments that you put in the tray and snap shut and nothing gets shuffled into the other compartments. There are 4 styles of inner compartments to pick from, but they have what is called the Tool box kit and it is a base, 4 outer trays and 1 of each style of inner tray.

How many of you are into specialty shaped chipboard albums?? Do you like the Wordbook Albums? I did some special orders this fall for custom names and words and they went well and did well at the CK show in Bellevue. I just found out that I can get the Word books that are about 5" high and 8 characters long now. Do you all think you would want to have the ability to custom order these books? How about a mini album that looked like a gameboy controller?? I just drew up the design and I am considering getting it cut and put in a kit or in the store.

Do you have a shape you would like to see in chipboard?? Please leave the comments ladies I try to check on these as much as I can. Have a great day.
